04-09-2008 GWR RALLY CANCELLED - Flooding puts paid to Western Region favourite
Weston and North Somerset MAG have announced the GWR Rally - due to be held this weekend (5-7 September) has been CALLED OFF due to flooding at the site.
The decision was taken by W&NS MAG after inspecting the site this morning. It was with great regret that the organisers had to admit that with 50mm of rain forecast in the next 24 hours there was no chance of the site drying-out, pulling the plug was their only choice.
